The following three commonly used methods are introduced by manufacturers of CNC machine tools:
Multi-station method
The basic principle of the multi-station method of customized vertical machining centers: After clamping multiple workpieces at a time, it achieves the intent of shortening the unit clamping time and extending the effective cutting time of the tool. Multi-station clamps are clamps with multiple positioning and clamping positions. With the development of CNC machine logo tools and the demand of users to improve the output power, the use of multi-station fixtures is now increasing. Multi-station planning is becoming more and more common in the structural planning of hydraulic/pneumatic fixtures, modular fixtures, electro-permanent magnetic fixtures and fine combined flat-nose pliers.
group application method
Put the same several fixtures on the same workbench and use them, and they can accomplish the same purpose of “multi-station” clamping. The fixtures involved in this approach should generally undergo “standardized planning and high-precision production”, otherwise it will be difficult to meet the requirements of CNC machine tool machining. The group application method can make full use of the stroke of the CNC machine logo tool, which is conducive to the balanced wear of the machine tool transmission components; a related fixture can be used independently to complete the clamping of multiple pieces, and can be used in combination to complete the clamping of large-size workpieces.
Partial quick change
The partial quick change method is to quickly replace the parts of the CNC machine logo tool fixture (positioning element, clamping element, tool setting element and guiding element) to achieve the intent of quickly changing the fixture function or application method. For example: Quick-change combination flat-nose pliers can change the clamping function by quickly replacing the jaws, such as changing from clamping square material to clamping bar material; it can also change the clamping method by quickly replacing the clamping components, such as Converted from manual clamping to hydraulic clamping. The partial quick-change method greatly shortens the time for replacing and adjusting fixtures, and has a significant advantage in small batch production.
